the ultimate flood prevention
Following catastrophic flooding caused by Hurricane Katrina,
FEMA published revised base flood elevations for all areas so affected.
The KFW inventor knew there had to be a long term fully preventative and more monetarily prudent method for flood protection in lieu of elevating structures and/or properties.
... realistic,
From many years of firsthand experience in the below grade waterproofing industry, the inventor developed detailed sketches ultimately reflecting a realistic, cost effective but simplistic flood protection system to protect people and property from such disasters. Thus was born, the KNOST FLOOD WALL.
Further improvements have been included in the original concept, such as the drive over flood gates, increased structural components, etc., and the invention was submitted to and received United States patent pending now awaiting Utility status.
As with most engineering related inventions, there seems to be an endless evolution process by which the creation improves its designed and intended capabilities. From expert opinions, new technologies and wise counsel, all aspects of the intellectual property continues to increase its viability for application anywhere absolute flood protection is required. Many of these improvements are presented in this document.
We hope the reader will not just read the presentation document with its supportive facts, but after doing so unite with other respected authorities who realize the KFW is the true remedy to prevent such flooding sure to occur in the future.
